This isn't your typical game or normal RPG. It's Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga! Now this game is supposed to be a hilarious adventure featuring both bros., and for the younger audiences it is for the most part. Speaking as an older person, I liked this game very much. It lived up to standards, and is just as good as it's 2 predecessors - Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars and Paper Mario. The game has all kinds of new features and a lot of classic Mario in it. Starting with the new features - the controls. At first they're hard to get used to. But I think the controls are great. They are very unique, and excellent once you know them. The battle system is one of the best in any kind of RPG's. You only get 3 regular attacks, but you also get Bros. Attacks. These are attacks that when timed correctly, do some serious damage. There are 3 different levels of speed, damage, and number of Bros. Points consumed. Level 1 is for beginners, 2 for intermediate players, and 3 is for expert players at these moves. Along with the Bros. Attacks, you get Advanced Bros. Attacks. After using the regular Bros. Attacks a certain number of times, Mario or Luigi will have them in advanced mode. You'll know when you get them if you play the game and use them enough times. However, Advanced Bros, Attacks need different button combinations to execute them, so you need to figure them out yourselves. That's the fun. Along with the new battle system is a new world, characters, and a new story. You start of in the Mushroom Kingdom as always. Well, an ambassador form the nearby Bean Bean Kingdom steal's Peaches voice. Well, you go to the Bean Bean Kingdom to save her. Now the Bean Bean Kingdom is awesome. It's pretty big with warp pipes scattered around for easy travel. There are a variety of level types - jungle, underwater, desert, snow, grass, etc. The levels are completely different from past Mario games, which I found interesting - I think the change is good. Also, in this game there is a bunch of new characters. There is a new main bad guy, Cackletta. Along with him is his assistant Fawful. There are new kinds of townspeople - instead of Toads they are Hoos. That's a change from a Mario game. And like in Super Mario RPG, Bowser is an ally. This is one of the very few games he is not the enemy. And there is a new story. It is very different compared to other Mario games. The Story goes like this; The Princesses' voice has been stolen by an evil with named Cackletta. Mario & Luigi team up for an RPG adventure to save Peach's voice. Well, I can tell you that's not the whole story. Later in the game you realize she never had her voice stolen. So now you must find the 4 pieces of the mystical Beanstar, which is another twist. The new features in this game are really cool, and for Mario fans they'll be a bit surprised this game progresses. But there's more to this game than a bunch of new stuff. A whole bunch of classic stuff is in here too. Let's start with classic characters. Well, if you played Super Mario RPG you'll know who is in it. It's none other than Geno, the toy doll owned by Gaz. Now for most people this will be a shock since Geno is copyright Square-Enix. Well he's in there anyways because Nintendo got permission to have him in there. But he's not the only one. Joining him are the Viruses from Dr. Mario. These guys are actually enemies you fight. There not the toughest, but it's cool to have them in here. Another classic character would be Birdo, from Super Mario Bros. 2. He is actually a boss, and has some new moves not in any other games he's in. And lastly you have the Koopa Kids. You know these guys from Super Mario Bros. 3 and Super Mario World. Well, there back for their third game appearance. They are all separate bosses in one level. Now the characters are great but what about old time Mario music? In this game it has it. Mainly the Mario Bros. overworld theme. If you hear it you'll know it since it's the most known video game song of all time. There's many different versions of it, and all are really good. There not too much remixed. Some other old time music is in this game.

Description: This is an excellent game. It is by far the best Game boy Advance game and is one of the best Mario games. It definitely is as good as it's 2 prequels. I highly recommend this game for all Mario fans of all ages.
