Bowser's Keep

Levels

Bowser's Keep - The first level of the game, Bowser's Keep is relatively easy. There are few enemies that can all be taken down with 1 hit. This is also where Exor crashes.

Vista Hill -  Vista Hill is a pointless level. No enemies, no objectives, and is just pointless. When you come to this level, all you do is look at Bowser's Keep. It is also the hill to reach Bowser's Keep.

Mushroom Kingdom

Levels

Mario's Pad - Mario's Pad is the first level of the this area. There's not a lot to do here - it's just Mario's house. You can come here to save your game, or sleep to recover HP and FP

Mushroom Way - This level is just a passageway from Mario's Pad to the Mushroom Kingdom. The level does have enemies, and is a great place to train at the beginning of the game. Timed Hits should also be practiced.

Mushroom Kingdom - The Mushroom Kingdom is the home of Toadstool, the town of the Toads, and center point of this part of the map. Once peaceful, a sword named Mack started to terrorize the Mushroom Kingdom. The 1st Star Piece is also found here.

Bandit's Way - Bandit's Way is pretty much just an open field with some basic enemies. Then again, Mario and Mallow did have to chase Croco through Bandit's Way to get back Mallow's Frog Coin. This is a level like Mushroom Way, just with more difficult enemies.

Rose Town

Levels

Kero Sewers - The pathway from the Mushroom Kingdom area map to the Rose Town area map is known as Kero Sewers. A level with enemies, Kero Sewers also empties into the Midas River. It is the first level in this map area.

Midas River - A roaring waterfall is Midas River - a waterfall leading into Tadpole Pond. With no enemies, Midas River is a Mini-Game type level. Here you can collect coins and Frog Coins. Mario's Nok Nok Shell is also found here.

Tadpole Pond - Tadpole Pond is the home of the tadpoles, the wise and all knowing Frogfucious, and the famous music composer Toadofski. It was also Mallow's temporary home. You can come here to get help during your game from Frogfucious or you can come here to compose music in the Melody Bay section with Toadofski.

Rose Way - This level is exactly like Mushroom Way in the first area of the map. It connects Tadpole pond and Rose Town together. One difference between the 2 levels is that Rose Way has lakes and other waters. Enemies are more advanced here.

Rose Town - Rose Town is a town which has been terrorized by Bowyer. When Mario arrives at the Inn, he meets Gaz playing with dolls of Mario, Bowser, and Toadstool. Mario plays with Gaz, and then Gaz knocks Mario out. While Mario sleeping, Geno takes his doll form.

Forest Maze - Forest Maze is where the 2nd Star Piece landed after all the Star Pieces were split up by Exor. After Geno takes his real form, he walks into the Forest Maze to retrieve the 2nd Star Piece. Mario follows him and Geno joins Mario's party. Together, they take down Bowyer and retrieve the 2nd Star Piece.

Pipe Vault - Pipe Vault isn't a level you have to do. However, to get to Yo'ster Isle you must beat it. Enemies lurk here, but are very basic and can be easily defeated.

Yo'ster Isle - Yo'ster Isle is the home of Mario's old friends, the Yoshis. This isn't a level with enemies, but you can save your game here. You can also race the green Yoshi to win Yoshi Cookies.

Moleville

Levels

Moleville - Moleville is a town filled with mines called the Coal Mines. The residents are moles, and are very skilled at working in the mines. When Mario visits here, he rescues some of the moles trapped n the mines. Mario also finds the 3rd Star Piece here.

Booster Pass - Booster Pass is like a little mountain with cliffs. Plants can still grow here despite the conditions. Booster Pass connects Moleville to Booster Tower. The level has more advanced enemies and is a good place to train.

Booster Tower - Booster Tower is a tower designed like a playroom. It's owner is Booster, a crazy person who has Snifits as servants. After Mario, Bowser, and Toadstool are flung in opposite directions by Exor, Toadstool lands on the balcony of the tower. Booster then tries to marry her.

Booster Hill - Booster Hill is a steep slope connecting Marrymore and Booster Tower. Mario tries to catch Booster on this hill, that way he won't marry Toadstool. Beetle collecting also takes place on this hill.

Marrymore - Marrymore is the famous wedding chapel. It also ha the famous Inn with the Suite. There's not to do here, but you can buy items, weapons and armor, save your game, and sleep.

Seaside Town

Levels

Star Hill - Star Hill is the area of which people's wishes take the form of a star. There are enemies, ones that are more advanced then some you fought earlier. You can also read people's wishes. This is the location of the 4th Star Piece.

Seaside Town - Seaside Town is a town terrorized by Yaridovich. After he is defeated, Seaside Town is the biggest shopping center in the whole game. You can buy anything that has been sold in other levels. There are also special shops such as Mushroom Boy's Shop, Health Store, and Beetles Are Us. There is also a special shop that uses Frog Coins - Frog Disciples' Shop.

Sea - Sea is a water level connecting the Sunken Ship and Seaside Town. The level itself isn't to hard and is relatively short. Surprisingly, this is the first level with enemies where there is a shop. This is just a basic pathway type level.

Sunken Ship - Sunken Ship is a level with more advanced enemies. There are more puzzles and bosses than in any other level. There is also a shop in this level, with items almost identical to Sea's selection. The 5th Star Piece is found here.

Monstro Town

Levels

Land's End - The first level in this area of the map, Land's End combines underground type levels with grass type levels. The enemies are more advanced, with all different kinds. The level it's self is long, and relatively difficult. This level eventually turns into Belome's Temple, where you fight Belome for a second time.

Monstro Town - Another town that is really different from any other. Like others, you can save your game, buy materials, and sleep, but in this town you can fight 2 bosses. Both of these bosses are really hard, and your party at least needs to be leveled up. Monstro Town is probably the smallest town in the game.

Bean Valley - Bean Valley is different that most levels. It has red hills, red dirt, red grass, and isn't to colorful. The enemies here are even more advanced from Land's End, and are very difficult. Bean Valley also has an exit leading to Great Guy's Casino.

Great Guy's Casino - Great Guy's Casino is a level/secret area. Here you can bet your Frog Coins. You can play 3 games here - Blackjack, a slot machine, or you can play Look the Other Way! There's a lot to do here.

Nimbus Land

\

Levels

Nimbus Land - Nimbus Land is the home of Mallow, and his parents, King and Queen Nimbus. Nimbus Land is located on the clouds, and is famous for it's Hot Springs. Only the royalty can bathe in these springs. The famous sculptor Garro also lives here.

Barrel Volcano - Barrel Volcano is reachable from Nimbus Land. Hinopio lives inside the volcano, running an armor shop, an Inn, and a. item shop. The 6th Star Piece is also found here.

Bowser's Keep

Levels

Bowser's Keep (2nd time) - This time Bowser's Keep is a lot harder. There are harder enemies, harder bosses, and difficult to solve puzzles. There are fire pits and all kinds of hazards. It is definitely more difficult.

Gate - After fighting Exor, he swallows you up into a level called Gate. This level eventually merges into Factory, the location of the 7th Star Piece. This level is long, and difficult. There are even machine made bosses like Mack, Bowyer, and the Axem Rangers. This level is the final level before Smithy.

Factory - Factory is the last level of the game. It is the home of Smithy and the location where the 7th Star Piece landed. The enemies are fierce, although there aren't a lot of them. Toad also runs a shop in here.
